— С утра мы обычно встречаемся в мини-кухне. Все сотрудники подтягиваются туда, каждый пьет кофе или чай, и в это же время мы обсуждаем, что нами сделано и не сделано, составляем план работы на сегодня. Пойдем ко всем, и рисунки покажем, ты не против? — предложил Артур.

"In the morning we usually meet in the kitchenette. All employees gather there; everyone is drinking coffee or tea, and at the same time, we discuss what we have done and not done, make a schedule of work for today. Let's go to all, and show drawings, you not against?" Arthur offered.

Мы пошли в мини-кухню.

Действительно, здесь собрались все, кроме Василия и Егора — они еще работали за городом.

— Мы обсудили кое-что здесь, позже в моем кабинете с тобой переговорим. Расскажите, что у вас? Александра, как твой первый рабочий день прошел?

— Она нарисовала нас, — ответил Артур за меня.

"She portrayed us," Arthur answered for me.

— Это что-то новое на фирме. А посмотреть можно? — спросил Максим удивленно.

"This is something new on the firm. Can I see pictures?" Maxim asked in surprise.

Я протянула ему рисунки.

I handed him the drawings.

— Вы только посмотрите на нашу Ирэн — с такими очками к ней вообще не подойти будет, — Максим дал рисунок Ирине.

"You just look at our Irene — no one can even come close to her if she wears these glasses," Maxim gave the drawing Irina.

Возле Ирины быстро сгрудились остальные, они тоже хотели увидеть.

The others quickly crowded around Irina; they wanted to see, too.

— Ребята, хочу такие очки. Вот одену их, и будете вы у меня «по струночке ходить», — пригрозила Ирина.

"Folks, I want these glasses. I'll wear them, and you will unquestioningly obey me," threatened Irina.

— Похожа очень, только строгая такая… — отозвались ребята.

"In the picture, you are very similar yourself, but you seem very strict on it," replied the collective.

— Ирочка, мы тебя любим. Ты можешь сколько угодно строгости на себя напустить, но мы-то знаем, что ты добрая. — сказал Армен Георгиевич, самый старший на фирме. Я уже знала, что он занимается вопросами снабжения.

"Irina, we love you. You can pretend to be arbitrarily strict, but we know that you are good," said Armen Georgievich; he was the eldest of us. I already knew that he is engaged in supply issues.

Ирины улыбнулась, и на ее щеках появились очаровательные ямочки. Она ответила Армену Георгиевичу:

— Вы-то воробей стреляный, Армен Георгиевич, Вас не проведешь.

"You are a wise sparrow who knows life, Armen Georgievich. No one can cheat you."

— Почему воробей, бери выше — орел. — сказал Армен Георгиевич. Он попытался изобразить из себя орла, выпячивая грудь вперед. Живот у него все равно остался больше, чем грудь, выглядело это забавно. Все рассмеялись, и Армен Георгиевич тоже.

По рукам пошли остальные два рисунка.

— Посмотреть хотя бы, что Василий с Егоркой делают, мы не видели их уже около месяца, — собравшиеся говорили о рисунке с усадьбой. — Ничего себе, вот это особняк. И кто только строит такие хоромы…

"View at least, what the Vasily and Yegorka are doing; we haven't seen them for about a month," gathered said about the drawings of the manor. "Wow, here is a great mansion. And who only builds such mansions. .."

— Руководителей наших в точку поймала — они все время что-нибудь новое выискивают. А Максим Витальевич и правда любит сидеть в своем кресле, держа руки за головой.

"You caught to the point our leaders — they are always looking for something new. And Maxim Vitalyevich loves to sit in his chair, holding hands behind the head."

— И я люблю с чашкой кофе в руках по офису ходить, — присоединился к разговору Артур.

— Что есть, то есть, — подтвердила Ирина. — Александра, а можно я дома покажу, как ты меня нарисовала?

"It's true," confirmed Irina. "Alexandra, can I show at home how are you have portrayed me?"

Я вопросительно посмотрела на Артура и поняла, что решать мне.

— Конечно, Ирина, — ответила я.

— Сашенька, что мне сделать, чтобы ты и мой портрет нарисовала? — сразу сориентировался Армен Георгиевич.

"Sasha, what can I do to have you paint my portrait?" Armen Georgievich immediately asked.

— Специально ничего, Армен Георгиевич. Я за Вами понаблюдаю и за другими, кого еще
